Construction and equipment of the lecture hall in the new University Campus of Ethiopian Catholic University
On 2015, the project “Construction and equipment of the lecture hall in the new University Campus of Ethiopian Catholic University” has started. It was coordinated by CeSI in collaboration with the Ethiopian Catholic University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (ECUSTA) and realized thanks to the funding of Fondazione CARIPLO.
The main goal is the strengthening of ECUSTA, which was founded on 2007 and today represents an academic. Thanks to the international support, it has started some medical training staff and to increase the curriculum in the fields of agriculture sciences, economy and engineering.
The project, which provides the construction and the equipment of the lecture hall of the Ethiopian University, has the following goals: supporting the teaching of common subjects in the scientific sector (medicine, laboratory techniques, nursing and obstetrics), promoting events and national and international conferences, offering to the students of the Campus a first aid station which could be used by the academic community and the citizens.
The project is realized in partnership with the Episcopal Conference of Ethiopia, the archbishopric of Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian Ministry of Education, the Italian Episcopal Conference and the Autonomous Province of Trento.
