To participate in the UCSC Charity Work Program, you must demonstrate knowledge of English. To register for the language tests, it is necessary to complete the registration procedure and indicate the date of the test in the application form.
Language tests will be held online in the following dates:
- Wednesday Januay 19th 2022 (registration witihin January 18th at 12:00);
- Tuesday February 15th 2022 (registration witihin February 14th at 12:00).
To take the test, you will need to access a link, which will be sent by email together with all the information for carrying out the test. The link will remain active from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the tests days.
The Placement Test is divided into 4 sections (Listening, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary) and has a maximum duration of 50 minutes; it evaluates grammar and lexical knowledge, written and oral comprehension.
Please note that English test taken to apply for Exchange and Erasmus programs are note valid for UCSC Charity Work Program.
It is not necessary to take the language test if you have already taken a SeLdA Placement Test not earlier than September 1st 2020; if this is the case, please indicate in the application form the date and score of the Placement Test taken.
It is not necessary to take the test if you have a language certification that meets the criteria listed in the table below; if this is the, please indicate in the application form that you are in possession of a certification and attach the certification with the score obtained. Language certificates exempt from the Placement Test if obtained no earlier than January 1st, 2020.

FRENCH

- Ministère Français de l'Éducation Nationale Enseignement Supérieur Recherche, certificate and minimum level required: EsaBac
Please Note: for some destinations, preference will be given to those candidates with French knowledge (when specified in the project sheet). To demonstrate French knowledge candidates can send a French certification with all the other documents required.
