The Centre

Partners

The Family Studies and Research University Centre is a founding member of REDIF.

REDIF, the European Network of Family Institutes, was founded in May 1997, it belongs to F.I.U.C., the International Federation of Catholic Universities. The Director is Costanza Marzotto, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. REDIF publishes online the journal La famille, George Eid is the editor.

Since 2018 the Center has collaborated with Relational Studies in Sociology, an international network of sociologists sharing the relational sociology paradigm.

Our Center has participated in the activities of SACRU - Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities since 2021, in particular has actively collaborated with Working Group 4 Family Life (referents professors Rosa Rosnati and Elisabetta Carrà) and with Working Group 7 Gender Equity in the University (referent professor Claudia Manzi).

Besides, the Center has joined the program of the Family Global Compact promoted by the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. The Family Global Compact is a shared program with Universities and Research Centers for the promotion of the family according to the social doctrine of the Church and for a synergy with the Church, in particular with pastoral care of the family (referent professor Rosa Rosnati).
