Projects in Italy

Since 2020, CeSI has enriched Università Cattolica's commitment to development cooperation with solidarity interventions to be carried out in the national context. From the awareness that development cooperation is born from a common action and also requires a national commitment, some important collaborations were born.

Together with the ISMU Foundation, the Italian NGO Tamat and some European partners, Università Cattolica is taking part in the NEAR project, with the aim of promoting the social and work orientation of migrants in the period of first arrival in Europe.

From the collaboration with the Italian NGO WeWorld Onlus, inspired by the conviction that education to solidarity and globality is crucial to form generations of aware students, Università Cattolica participated in the project "EXPONI le tue idee!". It is an educational competition aimed at students to encourage debate and awareness on the issues of climate change and environmental protection, as part of the European project "End Climate Change, Start Climate of Change" and the DEAR Programme of the European Commission.
