The Charity Work Program 2025 of the Università Cattolica offers 41 scholarships for volunteer experiences in Italy and abroad, lasting from 3 to 8 weeks. The programme is open to Bachelor's, Master's, PhD and Postgraduate School students, as well as to students who have graduated no more than one year ago. Applications are open until 10 February 2025.

"Peace, social justice, sustainability: getting to know and experience today's challenges through solidarity", the in-depth study and volunteering course held by professors of Università Cattolica in collaboration with the social workers of Caritas Ambrosiana.

The Charity Work Program 2024 offered students and new graduates the opportunity to participate in volunteer experiences in Italy and abroad, contributing to development and international solidarity projects. Participants collaborated with local organisations, putting into practice the skills acquired during the academic course and living an educational and human experience

In line with Strategic Objective 1 'Maximise impact against HIV, TB and malaria' promoted by the Global Fund actions, the project, financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and led by the UCSC, the Thouret Onlus Foundation and the Sainte Jeanne-Antide Thouret Hospital, aims to fight tuberculosis in the health district of Ngaoundal, where the incidence of TB is particularly high.

The project aims to improve the welfare of abandoned children in Central America. Amici dei Bambini Ai.Bi is the lead agency, and UCSC, together with SOS Bambino IA, Fondazione Patrizia Nidoli, Soleterre and P.S.D.P., participates in the project with contributions in research, training and capacity building.

On the occasion of its centenary, UCSC confirms its commitment to development cooperation by participating in the "D.E. - AFRICA" project with Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) and the E4Impact Foundation, financed by the Italian Episcopal Conference. Objective: to improve higher education in Africa to foster socio-economic development through the empowerment of local academic institutions.
