Echoes of the crisis in Lebanon. Conflict, dialogue, coexistence
On Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, a meeting was held to present the volume published by Scuola Sinderesi, edited by Samuele Sangalli: Echoes of The Lebanon Crisis. Conflict or Coexistence? (2024, Rubbettino).
With this book, Scuola Sinderesi - a training course of the Pontifical Gregorian University - intends to launch an investigation into the situations of conflict on the borders of Europe. The study of the current crisis in Lebanon is of particular importance as a possible interpretative model of similar situations, in which different groups are called to live together, between conflict and the possibility of harmonious coexistence in the Middle East. With a multidisciplinary approach, the main historical events in Lebanon are retraced to better understand the geopolitical dynamics, sociological, institutional and religious aspects of the country.
