The presentation event will be held on Wednesday 11 March at 4.30 p.m . at the Milan campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

The family is a generative nucleus, where relationships represent the resource par excellence, but it is also a fragile project, to be built and rebuilt, not without risks and destructive drifts. Is it possible to protect, protect, enrich and promote it? And how? In response to these questions, a research team from the University Centre for Family Studies and Research of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan has designed a specific tool, based on extensive international scientific studies and twenty years of research experience: the Family Enrichment Pathways (PEFs®).

 PEFs® are an innovative proposal intended for the family in a preventive, clinical and educational key. In the Paths, aimed at groups of couples or parents, accompanied by accredited conductors, the opportunity is offered to work on relational skills, such as communication, the ability to deal with good and bad luck, conflict management strategies. In addition, and above all, the theme of family identity is explored, i.e. what it means to be a couple and to be parents in a family crowded with horizontal relationships (brothers, brothers-in-law...) and vertical relationships (parents, in-laws, grandparents...) and in a social dimension (family-school, family-social and health realities), with which the relationship is increasingly complex. The volume is aimed at students, psychologists, pedagogues, scholars of family and social issues, trainers and group leaders, social and family pastoral workers, teachers and educators who find themselves working with couples and families in different social contexts.
