Condolences for the death of Prof. Adriano Bompiani

The Director, the Steering Committee, the Scientific Council and the entire University Centre for Bioethics share in the family's grief for the tragic and sudden death of Prof. Adriano Bompiani, an illustrious scientist who contributed so much to the birth and development of bioethics in Italy and Europe, combining with exemplary effectiveness the traits of a great humanity with the depth and vastness of a solid culture. We are particularly grateful for his decisive contribution to the establishment of the Centre for Bioethics of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Università Cattolica and for his constant commitment to life, exercised in Italy and in Europe, through prestigious appointments, always carried out with an admirable spirit of service and generous dedication.
