Goals

Within the project "Children: from the Periphery to the Center", funded by the Fondazione Con I Bambini and led by Consorzio Con.Opera, the action conducted by the Family Studies and Research University Centre aims to promote and support a positive educational alliance between services and families in zero-to-six-year-old hubs, following a logic of familiarization and co-production. Inspired particularly by the Family Impact Lens, the project analyzes the impact of policies and practices on families.

Methods

The two-year project (2018-2019) includes contextual analysis and support for services and families through local focus groups with operators and families of nurseries and preschool services (2018), followed by workshops aimed at sharing the acquired knowledge and co-constructing new practices (2019).

Results

Co-designing new pathways with operators and parents to strengthen their educational alliance; evaluating the relational quality of the foster care project with Cometa; assessing the Family Impact and the foster care outcomes for the subjects involved.
