Tutors of Resilience
The project, realized by CeSI and the Research Unit on Resilience in cooperation with Adyan Foundation, L’Oeuvre d’Orient and with the support of BICE, started on May 2015 and went on 5 months
The intervention, based on a resilience approach, aimed at the protection and promotion of Syrian children and families well-being through a training course adressed to social operators who live in Lebanon and Syria, and the organization of creative and expressive workshops with Syrian children refugees in Lebanon.
Two missions were realized: in May 2015 and in August 2015. During the first mission, Veronica Hurtubia and Alessandra Cipolla of the Resilience Research Unit carried out training activities for 25 local social workers who they work with Syrian refugee children in refugee camps in Lebanon and Syria. During the second mission, Hurtubia concluded the monitoring and evaluation of the results achieved by the intervention.
