Università Cattolica for the children of Haiti
The project “Università Cattolica for children of Haiti” has started after the first explorative mission realized by Professor Cristina Castelli on February 2010 in Haiti.
The aim of the mission was to evaluate, together with local authorities, the concrete possibilities of collaboration with Haitian educational institutions.
The shared goal of the project was to give a resilient and effective contribution to the humanitarian emergency caused by the earthquake, in a country which has been always facing conflicts and poverty.
The project was supported by Premafin Finanziaria S.p.a., Credito Valtelinese banking group and Università Cattolica 5 per mille.
