D.E. - AFRICA Executive Ph.D. Programs in Management and Agriculture for Academic Professors from Africa

In view of the first Centenary since its foundation, Università Cattolica intended to reaffirm its vocation to cooperation for development and international solidarity. Therefore, Università Cattolica participates in the “D.E. – AFRICA” project, promoted by the Uganda Martyrs University of Kampala, Uganda, in partnership with E4Impact Foundation. The project is finances by the Italian Bishops’ Conference.
The Project aims to improve the quality of higher education in Africa, in order to contribute to the continental socio-economic development through the empowerment of local academic institutions and faculties.

The Project intends to offer two international Ph.D. programs for professors from African universities. The PhD lasts three years and awards a fully accredited degree by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. It encompasses class work in Italy once a year, in the Università Cattolica campuses.

The PhD program has two tracks: AgriSystems and Management and Innovation.
